It's been a good 2 days. Yesterday I went museum hopping with Audrey, first at the S.A.M for the Primary Colours exhibition, and then we crossed the road to the newly renovated(ok we are laggers) National Museum. It was fun, I enjoyed myself and I think she did too. Some of you are probably gonna say, it was the company, well I won't deny that as a big factor but the museums were good, especially the artworks on display at S.A.M.
And after school today I caught Rule #1, local director Kelvin Tong's supernatural Thriller. I went in unsure of what to expect, but it turned out to be pretty good. Not your 5 star, mind-blowing life-changing movie, but compelling entertainment. Yes,there are the inevitable plot-holes but as long as you are willing to suspend your disbelief, you will find your heart beating faster as the story unfolds. Sure, it borrows its basic premise from Fallen( I loved that movie) , but I guess thats not a movie many of you will have seen or remember, so it should be a fresh preposition. Great acting from the 2 male leads, Shawn Yue and a rather pudgy looking Ekin Cheng. 3.5 Stars. The trailer's below:
