Sebastiao Salgado

Joining the ranks of photographers that inspire me is Brazilian Sebastiao Salgado. Trained as an economist, Salgado worked as a civil servant (sound familiar?) before discovering that in order to come up with the solutions for the problems of the developing world, it was first necessary to show them. His camera would become the instrument of his conscience.

His images of the Sahel famine easily justify his reputation and the numerous awards he has received.

Don't be disrespectful. Yasa is coming back to become the chief croupier of Marina Sands! He will play an instrumental role in attracting punters from all over the world to SG.
