Back to Jack Johnson.

My friend Gwen- He spent 3 months in the countryside in Missouri (that's in the U.S.A) On Independence Day, he saw the Black Eyed Peas live in concert; He went to New York, went up the Empire State Building; He got himself a mexican girlfriend, got laid, and now he's back, missing her, and also raving about Jack Johnson.

I have only heard Wasting Time and Sitting Waiting Wishing and I must say they were pretty good. There is a certain laidback quality in both songs; a sort of carefree, holiday nonchalance which makes the songs extremely listenable, but also rather forgettable. Well written lyrics, jazzy melodies. "The Lord knows this world is cruel / I ain't the Lord I'm just a fool / and in love with somebody don't make them love you / must I always be sitting, waiting on you / must I always be playing, playing your fool ....."
