I think they sound better live. On Our Way To Fall, which was the song which stood out for me. It's just so sweet, dreamy and moby-esque, the 2nd song of the evening. And what struck me was how talented the band is. You won't find anything close to them in Singapore, (well maybe Observatory but they are different). One moment they can sound like Muse, the other the Smashing Pumpkins, and they can do the light breezy, easy listening songs just as well. I must say it was the lighter more melodic songs which I really enjoyed. Their heavier songs, especially the 3rd one for the evening I didn't really get, what I remember of it was what sounded like bullfrogs croaking rythmically above the chaotic wall of electronic sound.

The veteran indie-rock group from New Jersey juggles rock and melodic pop with equal ease, thanks to its multi-faceted style that includes folk, punk-rock, garage, electro and pop. Indeed. Everything nicely done.

This is one amazing video which just excites me, amuses me and makes me envious all at the same time. There are so many places on this earth that I want to visit. Life should be an adventure, a kaleidoscope of experiences, a celebration of the diversity of cultures and a pilgrimage to the most beautiful places on this planet. 5 more mins before I knock off and head down to the Esplanade for Yo La Tengo.
